Role – Assistant Ecologist
Location – Hertfordshire
Salary – £24 - £26K
A multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit an Assistant Ecologist to join its expanding team in Hertfordshire. They work with a broad range of clients, including housing, infrastructure, conservation, and local government sectors. ASSISTANT ECOLOGIST RESPONISIBILITIES
- Participating in habitat and protected species surveys
- Assisting in fieldwork coordination and managing survey equipment
- Conducting desktop research and interpreting environmental data
- Creating technical drawings using relevant software tools
- Supporting the preparation of ecological reports and assessments
ASSISTANT ECOLOGIST KEY SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in ecology or closely related subject
- Basic knowledge of wildlife regulations and practical fieldwork skills
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with office software
- A full valid driving licence
