Role – Landscape Architect
Location – Newcastle
Salary - £26 - £32K
 
We are working with a multidisciplinary practice who are looking for another valuable member of their team. The successful Landscape Architect will be based at their studio in Newcastle delivering landscape commissions with the Landscape Team and working directly with the in-house team of architectural staff.
 
You will also be expected to be capable of working with clients and external design teams/ subconsultants on a variety of schemes and projects including Mixed Use, Residential, Educational and Commercial. This Consultancy also prides themselves on their healthy workplace culture. LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Developing and assisting with the delivery of Landscape projects
  • Preparing concept design sketches and developing design/detail using CAD Software
  • Communicating and engaging with the team, clients and external consultants
  • Preparing information, specifications and schedules associated with typical Landscape Architecture services
  • Production of visualisations and animations using CAD/3D model with the team
  • Assisting on the Production of reports and any other documents necessary for projects
  • Attending client/stakeholder meetings to present designs and reports
  • Assisting and input into the compilation of bids and tenders
 
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • A degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Circa 3 years’ experience in professional practice
  • Eager to further develop your career
  • Demonstrable skills in assisting in the delivery of landscape schemes of varying scale
  • Technical construction design experience
  • Proficiency with CAD software
  • Good graphic skills and knowledge of the UK standards and planning system
  • A full UK driving licence
