The Opportunity
The successful landscape architect will take on a variety of responsibilities throughout the design and planning process. They’ll be creating exciting and practical landscape designs that fit what clients need and want. Working closely with different teams, they’ll manage projects from the initial concept to the final touches, making sure everything runs smoothly and stays on budget. They’ll also handle planning applications, carry out site assessments, and connect with clients and stakeholders to share ideas and gather feedback. A big part of the job will involve focusing on sustainability and coming up with innovative solutions that enhance biodiversity and create resilient outdoor spaces.
 
Requirements
You will have a degree in Landscape Architecture along with relevant experience in a similar role. You should be comfortable using design software including, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite and have a good grasp of planning policies and landscape design principles. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are important, as is a real passion for creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces.
