Role – Landscape Planner
Location – Tyne and Wear
Salary - £32 - £35K DOE

We are seeking experienced and motivated Landscape Architects and Landscape Planners to join a multidisciplinary team in the North East UK. You will be part of a dynamic, creative, and supportive group working on a wide range of projects across the UK and internationally. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while supporting the development of landscape design and urban planning within the environment business.
 
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Independently manage smaller projects and assist with tasks on larger, multidisciplinary projects
  • Strategic and feasibility/concept studies
  • Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA) for various projects
  • Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments (TVIA)
  • Preliminary/sketch and detailed designs, including general arrangement drawings, construction detailing, schedules, and specifications for planning applications
  • Tender and construction packages, as well as post-construction inspection.
  • Support the development of relationships with clients in both the public and private sectors
  • Assist in preparing bids for a range of projects, from small to complex, multi-disciplinary ventures
  • Engage with clients
 
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Proven experience in delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA)
  • Experience in landscape and urban design project delivery is desirable
  • Experience managing landscape design during the construction phase is beneficial
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley, along with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence
