Principal Landscape Architect
Location – Cheshire
Salary £42- £50K
Lead Careers are working with an independent, multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices in 3 UK locations.
They are currently recruiting for a Principal Landscape Architect on a hybrid working basis for their Cheshire office. They are looking for a Principal Landscape Architect with a particular interest in Landscape Design and Landscape Planning. They work across a broad range of environmental disciplines, including Landscape Architecture, Planning, Ecology and Arboriculture.
You will provide specialist consultancy advice for landscape design, landscape management and landscape planning. You will operate nationally, producing high quality landscape and visual advice and landscape design for a number of sectors including Leisure, Waste, Minerals, Land and Property Development, Infrastructure Development, Energy and Utilities and Insurance Companies and will provide services including landscape planning and design, environmental co-ordination, landscape master planning, visualisation and interpretation procedures.
PRINCIPAL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT IDEAL REQUIREMENTS
- A relevant degree / master’s degree in landscape architecture
- A Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience delivering a wide range of projects in the UK
- Excellent skills in landscape design, landscape appraisals, landscape planning, LVIAs, feasibility studies, and mitigation strategies
- Excellent client liaison skills
- An excellent project manager
- Strong report writing skills and attention to detail
- Experience supporting/mentoring junior members of staff
- A full UK driving licence
